Hi! I’m Kellie. I’m a southern girl turned western. Originally from Greenville, SC, I was transplanted to Eugene, Oregon in December of 2010 after marrying my sweetheart. We lived in Oregon for almost six years and then moved our family to Salt Lake City, Utah in the fall of 2016. We are in LOVE with our new city and plan to be here long term. I am a SLC-based family and lifestyle photographer. Check out my website here and let me know how I can help!

I desire Beautiful Living to be an outlet for creativity, inspiration, and encouragement as I document our life. The inspiration for the blog name came from a birthday card sent to me by one of my dearest friends. The front said: “She somehow found loveliness everywhere she went–perhaps because she brought so much of it with her.” On the inside, my friend wrote: “You have a unique way of making everything you touch beautiful. I love that about you. It reminds me of how God is in the process of making us beautiful, honing away at our imperfections, making us more like Him.” I was taken back by such kind words, but then thanked God that His grace makes the ugly in me beautiful. He turns ashes to beauty. Ecclesiastes 3:11, “He has made everything beautiful in its time”
